Hi, I’m Jess Hill — a Peterborough REALTOR® who believes buying or selling your home should feel exciting, not too overwhelming. I’m here to guide you through the process with honesty, experience, and a little bit of fun along the way.

Sure can! You can trust me like you’d trust a good friend with great real estate advice. From day one, I’m focused on your goals — no pressure, no pushing a sale just to get it done. I take the time to understand what you want to achieve and work hard to make it happen. You’ll always know what’s going on because I explain every step and every option along the way. My mission? That you feel confident, cared for, and maybe even learn a thing or two in the process.

I sure hope so — and I’ll do my best to make sure you do! My style clicks best with people who appreciate honesty served with a smile (and not too much fluff). I’ll always be empathetic to your situation, but I’ll also give you straightforward, professional advice to help you reach your goals. Whether we’re buying or selling, I focus on getting it done on time, on budget, and on your terms. I believe the best deal is one where everyone feels it’s fair — and I’ll never tell you what you want to hear unless it’s true.

Which company do you work for?

I am a Broker with Coldwell Banker Electric Realty, Brokerage. The CB brand was founded in 1906 and is the most established residential real estate franchise system in North America, proudly serving Canadian Home Buyers & Sellers since 1989. We run our business with integrity, never forgetting our core values: Home, Awesomeness, Ingenuity, & Excellence. I love this brand so much I work double duty for them! I am a Broker who sells real estate here, but I am also the VP of Sales & Business Development for CB Electric in Peterborough, helping other CBE agents excel in their own Real Estate careers!

Do you like being a REALTOR®?

That’s like asking “Do I like witty, Regency-era historical romance literature known for its social satirical commentary, and early feminist themes”?
… um, YES!!! I absolutely do! And while Jane Austen never wrote a heroine who sold real estate, I like to think of myself as a modern Elizabeth Bennet type: clever, self-possessed, and unafraid to speak my mind (especially when it challenges convention). That spirit has carried me through every part of my career — including my time as President of the Peterborough and Kawarthas Association of REALTORS® - challenging a few old ways.. I’m passionate about this industry and plan to be in it for many, many years to come. I genuinely love helping locals make their dream of ‘home’ a reality. It feels great.

What makes you different? (there’s about a million REALTORs® in Peterborough I could hire).

True.. everyone and their uncle is a REALTOR®. There are about 700 of us locally, in fact. But the fact that this number surprises most people says a lot — not everyone brings the same level of commitment to the job. I’m full-time, I’m local, and I’m proud to have only 5-star reviews from clients who often become my friends. I’m deeply involved in the community, supporting local housing, pet, and family-based charities — because this is home for me and my family, too. Most importantly, I genuinely give a d@mn. Your goals become my goals, and you’ll feel that from the moment we start working together.

In 2024, I was honored to be inducted into Coldwell Banker Canada’s Canadian Diamond Society for exemplary sales, as well as the prestigious International Sterling Society, recognizing my results among peers worldwide.   • National Association of REALTORS® Special Designations

    Through the National Association of REALTORS®, I hold the designations of Senior Real Estate Specialist and Buyer Representative. I have completed specialized training in these areas to better serve senior clients and buyers throughout the real estate process. Clients value the enhanced care and service that comes from this focused expertise.

  • Board President 2023

    In 2023 I served as President of the Peterborough & Kawarthas Association of REALTORS® after 2 years on the Board of Directors. I assisted the board through an integration of 5 real estate boards in Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Quinte, Northumberland and Durham to form the Central Lakes Association of REALTORS® in Ontario bringing more data, tools and resources to our members.

  • Ontario REALTORS® Care Foundation Fellowship

    In 2023 I was named a REALTORS® Care Foundation Fellow for my work with charitable foundations during my term as President with the Peterborough & Kawarthas Association of REALTORS®. This foundation fundraises in support of housing and shelter-related causes.

  • Luminary Awards for Women in Business

    The Peterborough & Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce has launched a new program celebrating and honoring the incredible achievements of local Women in Business. I am honored to have been nominated in the inaugural year of this award in the “Barrier Buster” category, and to be recognized among the top women in business in Peterborough.

    Since 2017, I’ve been honored multiple times with awards in several categories of this prestigious local recognition, from Best REALTOR® in Peterborough to Best Broker. It’s been a privilege to be recognized by the community and take the top spot in multiple years. Most recently named best DIAMOND Real Estate Broker in 2025.

  • OREA Young Professionals Network Leadership Award

    In 2021, I was fortunate to receive a nomination and win for the Ontario Real Estate Association, Young Professionals Network Leadership Award - an honour bestowed on agents under 40 who volunteer for their local associations, and work with charitable endeavors.
